San Pedro, Marbella is to put up a 50-metre-high Ferris wheel with air-conditioned cabins

Marbella Council introduced the blueprints for the €1.5 million construction, which will be able to hold 30 eight-person cabins.
The Mayor of Marbella, Angeles Muñoz has highlighted that this installation will be an “emblematic touristic icon” which she hopes will be ready for use by next summer.
The attraction will boast of beautiful panoramic views of San Pedro and La Concha.
In terms of the deadline, Muñoz has detailed that this the tender procedure will take around four months to complete and that once the concession is granted, the construction will take another 6 months to complete.
