New Promotional Video For Costa del Sol Tourism Hopes To Go Viral
Movie Legend Antonio Banderas and a score of other artists feature in a new promotional video for the Costa del Sol. Hotspots include Marbella, Malaga, Ronda, Nerja, Torremolinos and Estepona, amongst others.

A music video that "celebrates the talent, happiness and hospitality" of the Malaga province will be the centre piece of the 850,000-euro tourism campaign and will be presented on the first day of the show which runs from 19 to 23 May in Madrid.

The video features a song by Dry Martina called 'Al son de la Buena Vida' and is a new version recorded with artists from Malaga province specifically for this campaign.

Antonio Banderas is joined by Pasión Vega, Fran Perea, Javier Castillo, La Mari, rapper Easy, Little Pepe, Javier Ojeda, María Pelaé, Salva Reina, Spok, Zenet, Rubén Alcántara, La Lupi, JustCoco, Santiago Picatoste, Celia Flores, Dry Martina … and everyone participated in one of their favourite places of the province, “in a video full of joy, passion, modernity and innovation… all that the province of Malaga represents, and with a wonderful song,” said Francisco Salado, president of Turismo Costa del Sol.

Some of the places where these collaborations have been filmed are the Carmen Thyssen Muesum and Pompidou Art Gallery in Malaga and the death-defying Caminito del Rey walkway.

There are also, among other locations, the beaches of Marbella, Nerja, Torremolinos and Vélez-Málaga, the centre of Estepona, Benalmádena, the cliffs in Rincón de la Victoria, the Saltillo bridge in Canillas de Aceituno, the wooden walkway from the mouth of the Guadalhorce, the Peña de los Enamorados and El Torcal in Antequera, the Ronda gorge and Frigiliana, as well as golf, multi-adventure, gastronomy, teleworking segments interspersed with the appearance of artists and 'influencers' from the province.

All of the artists, in addition to participating, will help promote the destination and the video on their social networks.

“There is no better campaign because the numbers of followers are dizzying. They have more than 11.6 million followers on the main social media. I am convinced that this video is going to go viral. And I encourage all the people of Malaga to share it and give their opinion on it,” said Salado.
